Collection: Tim Main

Tim Main is a Christchurch-based artist and designer known for his intricate sculptures inspired by New Zealand's native flora. He works primarily with wood and ceramics, creating pieces that reflect the patterns of nature. Tim holds a Bachelor of Craft Arts from CPIT, where he also taught textile printing. His works are part of public and private collections, including the Christchurch Art Gallery and Canterbury Museum.

Tim's art focuses on transforming natural forms into symbolic motifs, exploring themes of balance and regeneration. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and collaborations, including a residency at The Arts Centre in Christchurch.
